When we attend THRiVE we physically remove ourselves from many of life’s distractions in order to make space for God. Even Jesus recognized the value and need to get away. Join us for a weekend of prayer, worship, and growth through God's Word.

THRiVE is for ladies of all ages. We host Teen girls and Little girls grades K-6.

Come share your favorite dish, play a few games, hear how much you are loved, and make a Blessing Bag to share with someone else that needs to be reminded just how special she is! We will be celebrating ALL birthdays!

Please bring a dish to share! We know you have some amazing recipes and we can't wait to try them!

Of course you can bring both if you have two great dishes to share!

The cost is $5.00 at the door. The cost helps to cover supplies needed for the Blessing Bags.

Ladies' Winter Bible Studies

Come join us this winter for a study of God’s Word.  The pages of the Bible are where we learn about getting to know God and His character and how He yearns for us to live.  God’s Word says in Deuteronomy 32:1-2 “…hear the words of my mouth.  Let my teaching fall like rain and my words descend like dew, like showers on new grass, like abundant rain on tender plants.”  

WCN wants all to see the women of our church and community in the Word and growing in their relationship with Him.  We are offering 3 different studies that will speak to you where you are right now. 

  • Wednesday evenings the children will participate in Children’s ministry activities.  

  • There will be a charge for workbooks for these studies.

Ladies' Bible Study

Come join us this winter for a study of God’s Word. The pages of the Bible are where we learn about God - His character and how He yearns for us to live. God’s Word says in I Peter 3:15 to “...be ready always to give an answer to every man that asks you a reason of the hope that is in you with meekness and fear.” WCN wants all to see the women of our church and community in the Word and let it be a lamp unto your feet and a light unto your path as stated in Psalm 119:105.

We are offering five different studies that will speak to you where you are right now.

  • Wednesday evenings the children will participate in Children’s ministry activities.  

  • There will be a charge for workbooks for certain studies.

THRiVE in Guatemala

THRiVE Women’s Ministry is going to Guatemala on June 4-11, 2022, to gather with women in the village of Chisec to host their first women's conference. The conference is called Mujeres Virtuosas, which means Virtuous Women. We have 21 from SWO who are going on this mission, and 7 of them are from WCN! How exciting! Please be in prayer for the more than 350 Guatemalan women who will gather for the three-day conference and our team from the U.S. 

We are seeking Spanish translators to join us if you are interested. There are still a couple of spots available if you would like to join the THRiVE Team to minister with the women of Chisec. 

You might be wondering-- how can I help if I don't feel called to go?

  • Pray: Email thriveministrytowomen@gmail.com to join the prayer team.

  • Donate items: We are collecting 350 washcloths, travel-size toiletries, hair combs, and hairbands.

  • Sponsor: a Guatemalan woman to attend the conference for $15.00.  

  • Give: towards one of our WCN ladies going on this mission.

You will select your design from the 3 options provided: He Is Risen, Bow Bunny, or CottonTail. We will provide everything you need to create an adorable spring decoration.

THRiVE Gathering is an event that creates an atmosphere for all women, including teens and girls grades 1-6, to gather in worship, prayer and hear from His Word. Ladies, join us for a two day event on Friday, March 12 and Saturday, March 13, 2021. The event is scheduled to be in-person unless regulations change in which we will meet virtually via live stream.

Registration is open and the cost is FREE! Please register to receive a digital ticket via email. As we continue to keep everyone safe, tickets are limited to provide for proper social distancing during the event, so register soon! Ladies, please join us for our next Believe gathering on Friday, November 6 from 6:30 - 8:30 pm in the Gym, Tables of Hope. Stations will be set up to make items that bring hope to others during the Thanksgiving season. Enjoy homemade card making and mailing of Thanksgiving greeting cards to women who need hope during the holiday. Gather around the table with other ladies and talk while enjoying desserts and coffee to craft a story of hope for the holidays.

The Table - All are Welcome!

6:00 - 9:00 pm

Come to the Table, Friends! Food & fellowship in the Gym from 6:00 - 8:00 pm. Catered menu includes pork or chicken BBQ sandwiches, coleslaw, mac n’ cheese, baked beans, green beans, and salad. Bonfire outside the Gym from 8:00 - 9:00 pm with live music (weather permitting). Bring a lawn chair! Cost is $5.00 per person, pay at the door.

The theme of this year's gathering is from The Turquoise Table by Kristin Schnell. The Table is more than just a beautifully colored table and a place to rest your feet. WCN’s West Parking Lot (Kohl’s side)

Ladies, OF ALL AGES, join us this Saturday, May 9th in the West Parking Lot at the church (Kohl's side) from 10:00 am - 12:00 pm. Jump in the car; have your husband drive you, bring your daughter or take the opportunity for a moment alone. We want to celebrate you; show you how much we appreciate you, love you and how important you are to us and to God.

When you get to WCN, follow the signs in the flower pots. Please stay in your car. Wear your mask, if it makes you feel more comfortable.

Six stations will be setup in the parking lot. 

  • Pastries 

  • Praise

  • Prayer 

  • Pretty Pots

  • Passenger Peace (live music)

  • Painting Praise (masterpiece painting)

As you approach the last two stations, you are invited to park your car to watch the painting and listen to music, as parking spots are available. People will direct you to a parking spot.

Sandi Schumaker will be painting a picture during the event. Everyone who attends will be entered to win her finished masterpiece. The winner, along with the final masterpiece, will be announced on Facebook.

BELIEVE WCN’s Women's Ministry invites you to Quench a night of fellowship and worship as we Fall Into the Living Water. Join us in Hawks Hall for a catered meal by Funky’s Cafe Catering. Cost is $8.00 per person at the door. Please RSVP by clicking below or email kalynv73@gmail.com.

On this night, we will be launching the once-monthly meetings of our Believe groups. These groups are made up of women you know. You can choose which group you'd like to attend and together you will decide when and where you will meet for your one-hour gathering. You can sign up to be placed in a group or form a group through church friends, co-workers, or neighbors. Your group will have a facilitator and can be multi-generational, and groups will focus on one name of God each month using a curriculum through video clips and journals. Join us as together, the Women of West Chester and beyond deepen our belief in the nature of God!

Ladies, join us for faith & fitness, led by Patty Totton, sponsored by BELIEVE WCN’s Women’s Ministry. Donation of $3.00 per class. No sign up necessary, enter through the East door. BELIEVE will cover the donation for everyone’s first class.

This fitness class introduces basic walking steps…to the beat of the music…paced to a 15 minute mile. The result? A low impact, multi-muscle, calorie torching workout with very effective results! Perfect for any fitness level.
